Hmmm. Should. There’s a word that can permeate our thoughts and words as well as our deeds. How many times have you done something because you "should". How passionate do you feel about it when you "should"?
Let's look at it differently. I want to express what matters to me with the aim of making you feel supported, acknowledged, and empowered to tackle challenges, embrace joy, or simply be yourself as a leader.
And I write blogs to help people reframe things. I guess I could name this blog, Why Your Intention Matters, or How Can We Think About This Differently?
However, today is Saturday, and I want to take advantage of the remaining warm days by spending some time outdoors. Therefore, this will be the shortest blog post I have ever written. Here is what I want to share with you...
Your purpose is right in front of you and what you focus on matters.
You may feel like you must do more and be more. You don’t. You’re enough right here, right now.
How you see things matters. If it seems hard, what’s another way to look at it?
Give yourself permission to be you. We need you.
We all lead. How do you want to lead with intention, authentically?

Happy October Saturday!
This hit home. I am trying to use the words, "I get to", instead of "I should". "I should" invokes the feeling of guilt, if I don't do something. Thank you for the reminder.
